Someone please start a para with me I miss everyone and I miss being Nora.
I haven’t roleplayed in two days.
I miss you all terribly.
I have one more true day of school.
Can- can I make a comeback and be on all the time now? I feel like a part of me has been missing. You’re like my family.

I absolutely adore Lily Rabe as Nora Montgomery. She has such grace and arrogance and fragility and perfection. I ust wish I could be bothered to get a better screen cap to underline my point. But I’m still in the middle of this episode.
I approve.
Nora waved her hand dismissively. “When you’ve been here as long as I have, personal space becomes a thing of the past,” she said quietly. “I think as long as you’re gentle, you can borrow books from the attic. Perhaps see Alice about that. She always seems to be reading…
“Something on your mind, dear?”
The question seemed harmless enough to Nora. Much more harmless than asking about her death, or any other circumstances. She was almost certain that she would rather talk about whatever thought was making its presence known in Naomi’s mind at that very moment than anything she would come up with. Nora wrung her hands together, pursing her lips for half a moment as she waited for a reply.
Nora’s eyes scanned over the young girl for a moment as she let a soft sigh leave her lips. “I-,” she began, blinking a few times to regain her composure. “Yes. I’m sorry, I thought you were someone else for a moment, dear,” she assured the girl with a simple nod of her head.
She was thankful it wasn’t Charles, or someone else unbearable for her to associate with at the moment, but she couldn’t place the girl. Her eyes locked with the girls own, and Nora tilted her head for a moment. “I don’t think we’ve met,” she said gently, extending her hand to be the most charismatic she could stand at the moment.
“Nora. Nora Montgomery,” she smiled weakly.
Mac watched as Nora seemed to regain control of herself, and she smiled slightly. “We haven’t, I’m Mac.” She shook Nora’s hand gently, she seemed really upset over something, and she didn’t want to worsen it somehow. “Are you sure you’re fine?” She said, worried. She tried to think of something she could do, but her mind came up blank. The only thing she could think of was one of the few things that seemed to be a constant in this house.
She gripped Nora’s hand softly, leading her away from the basement door. She didn’t know Nora’s story, but she figured staying here wouldn’t help in keeping her from getting more upset.”Would you like some tea, Nora?”
“That sounds lovely, thank you,” Nora said quietly as she blinked away the tears that burned in her eyes while walking away from the basement. It felt as though she had completely abandoned her family, given up completely. She was a failed attempt at a wife and a mother- she was a shame to the title.
With a soft sigh, she sat down at the counter in the kitchen, folding her hands neatly in front of her on the cool stone top. With a tilt of her head, she gingerly cleared her throat. “So,” she said as Mac turned around and Nora looked at her for the first true time. She was most definitely a ghost, if Nora was to have a say. “How- how long have you been here, love?” she asked, veering away from the topic of herself.
“I’m his wife. If anyone could have done something it was me,” she said softly, shaking her head in a mixture of disbelief and disgust. She couldn’t stand the thought that she could have stopped this, or at least could have warned people. Phil was dead, Constance had come close. Her children were threatened. Absolutely everything seemed to be crashing down around her with no hope of recovery. There was no way to avoid this, no way to pretend it hadn’t happened. Nora sighed softly in despair and buried her head in her hands. “I should have know…”
“I know you would have done anything you could have to prevent this.” Alice said quietly, biting her bottom lip, “but… the house always gets what it wants, Nora. You probably wouldn’t have been able to stop it…” She spoke gently, hoping her words wouldn’t upset the woman further. She hated Nora being upset, hated feeling so useless about the entire situation, but hoped she was able to help Nora feel even slightly better. It was highly unlikely though, she could tell. “Don’t… Don’t blame yourself for this. What you can do is try to stop anything worse from happening… Try to get through to the real Charles.”
“I’m a horrible excuse for a wife,” she said brokenly. “I wouldn’t be surprised if he never wanted me back. For goodness sake, I practically betrayed him. I’m not sure this is something we’ll be able to recover from this go around, Alice.” She shook her head, lost and alone and positive that she was finally going to get the punishment for her actions.
All the suffering in the world wouldn’t be enough compensation for the horrible things that she had done in her lifetime. No matter how much she wanted to die again, to cease to exist and simply disappear- nothing would make up for what she had done. So many lives had been ended because of her ignorance, she couldn’t even bear the thought.
“Pehaps I should just accept my fate,” she muttered. “Nothing ever goes right, why bother?”
kill me now.
my friend is writing fanfiction about me.
my ship name is rames.
I can’t, guys. I just can’t.
hello, my loves.
I’m sorry. I’m sorry. I’m sorry.
I’ve been slacking so much.
Just personal reasons… That I shouldn’t be letting interfere with this rp but they kind of are…
But I’ll get over it, I suppose.
Anyways, like this if I owe you a reply, please. I’ve been off the maps in my paras for quite sometime. Forgive me.
Fuuuuuck guys.
I’m so sorry I haven’t been on.
It’s been… Stressful over here.
I swear swear swear to be back to normal soon!
I love you.
Nora closed her eyes gently and wrapped her arms more tightly around her husband, as though if she didn’t he might leave her alone once more. “Just a bit of gardening, and some reading throughout the day, nothing too spectacular,” she said quietly. It felt like the…
Nora traced circles with delicate fingers on Charles’ back as he spoke, her own fatigue making everything seem as though it was slower than reality. She looked at him with half-closed eyes, every blink taking longer than the one before. He talked about the future, and she listened intently. A future with Charles was one thing she would forever be fond of.
“Which means more time with you. More time to start a family.”
At the mention of a family, her heart seemed to skip a beat. Why? She wasn’t exactly sure. All she wanted was a family to call her own, a beautiful husband, and a beautiful child (or children, if possible.) But of course, she was scared. To be responsible for the life of another, their very existence held in balance by your actions and words… She wasn’t sure she was good enough. How could she be?
“A family,” she breathed, trying to dissolve all the doubt in her own skills from her mind. “Yes. Sooner or later, we’ll have a family.”
HEY GUYS.
Back from the medical oddities museum.
The bullet ridden brains and babies in jars reminded me of you guys.
Oh hey there Mika.
Who I haven’t spoken to in a week.
Who I miss terribly
And will come back to way too many messages on Skype. (sorry)
I love you.
Hey everyone!
Ashleigh (Moira) asked me to let you know that she was planning on writing replies today, but was taken by her friends on short notice. She offers her apologies!
A Writer Writes, a Surgeon Cuts: @Nora (flashback)
It was lucky for his father that Charles worked the hours he did, getting in at dawn and leaving well after dusk some days. With Thaddeus Montgomery getting older, the more his sons-…
Nora closed her eyes gently and wrapped her arms more tightly around her husband, as though if she didn’t he might leave her alone once more. “Just a bit of gardening, and some reading throughout the day, nothing too spectacular,” she said quietly. It felt like the darkness forbid her to speak loudly- not that she minded. It was yet another excuse to be closer to her husband, not that she was sure he would require one…
She lifted her head and kissed him, her lips lazily lingering against his for a moment longer than normal. “But you’re here now, and that’s all that matters,” she smiled softly. “It makes any day better.”
